WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE


POSITION OVERVIEW

The Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator is responsible for all warehouse functions including:

  • Unloading trucks, receiving & putting away inventory
  • Picking & staging orders
  • Loading outbound trucks in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity
  • You will operate warehouse equipment (forklift, tow motor, etc.) and RF device throughout the day on each function

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely inspect and operate forklift and other material handling equipment

  • Unload and stage inventory off of trucks for receiving

  • Verify packing slips from suppliers and compare to product unloaded

  • Process receipts accurately using RF gun and computer

  • Properly put away inventory into appropriate storage location
  • Pick shipments accurately, secure, and stage in designated area

  • Keep records of completed receipts and shipments

  • Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions

  • Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as an order picker, receiver, or other warehouse position

  • Experience or license in operating forklifts, tow motors, pallets jacks and other warehouse equipment

  • Experience with RF devices

  • Ability to consistently lift up to 50lbs

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

  • Able to read and write in English

  • Great attention to detail

  • Self-starter and motivated
